Project Coordinator (Contract) - 100% Onsite in Plymouth, MN Are you an organized, detail-oriented project professional who enjoys keeping projects moving, collaborating with multiple teams, and ensuring every detail is handled with accuracy?
THE RIGHT STAFF
has partnered with a leading energy management company in Plymouth, MN, in their search for multiple Project Coordinators (Contract) to support a high-volume portfolio of nationwide energy efficiency projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience with a well-established organization while working alongside an experienced project management team. Strong performers may have the opportunity for contract extensions or future permanent employment if business needs allow. This position provides day-to-day project coordination support throughout the planning, execution, and closeout of customer projects. Working closely with Project Managers, you will help coordinate project documentation, communicate with customers and vendors, track project information, and ensure critical administrative processes are completed accurately and on schedule.
Essential Job Duties:
Provide administrative and project coordination support to Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle Coordinate project documentation, setup activities, and distribution of project information to internal and external stakeholders Prepare project workbooks and maintain accurate project records within internal systems Communicate with customers, contractors, and vendors before, during, and after project execution Assist with project reconciliation, closeout activities, and documentation tracking Coordinate project-related surveys and support scheduling activities Research and resolve project-related questions while escalating issues as appropriate Maintain organized project files and assist with reporting and Excel-based tracking
Minimum Requirements:
1-3 years of project coordination, project administration, or similar experience Experience supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office applications Ability to learn new software systems and internal project management tools quickly Experience working with vendors, contractors, or customers is preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience Experience supporting construction, electrical, lighting, retail, or multi-site projects is a plus
Position Details, Pay, & Schedule:
Full-time Contract position (40 hours per week) Expected duration: Early August through the end of November, with the possibility of extension through year-end & possibility for conversion based on performance and business needs Multiple openings available (7-8 positions) Position is 100% Onsite in
Plymouth, MN Schedule:
Monday through Friday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Pay rate: $23-$28/hr, depending on experience level Occasional evening, weekend, or off-hours support may be required based on project needs Minimal travel (up to approximately 10%) may be required
