Job Announcement:

Three Rivers Park District is seeking to fill the position of Project Manager at our Administrative Center in Plymouth, MN. This position is responsible for managing complex projects and programs related to system-wide engineering, design, construction, and redevelopment of facilities in a manner that will guarantee a high standard of quality, consistent with all laws, regulations, and Three Rivers Park District policies and mission.

STARTING SALARY

$90,000 - $110,000/annually, depending upon qualifications.

SALARY RANGE

$78,019 - $145,018/annually. This posting is open until filled with a priority review deadline of Friday, October 16 th at 4:30pm.

Essential Duties and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 6 (six) years of progressively responsible experience in directly related project and program management work. Must possess a valid Class D Minnesota driver's license.

Desired Qualities and Competencies:

Communicates effectively and tactfully with staff, elected officials, outside agencies, consultants, and park patrons; facilitates collaboration and resolves conflicts constructively. Demonstrates an inclusive leadership style, works effectively within multidisciplinary teams, builds cooperative relationships, and can independently lead projects with minimal supervision. Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities; takes initiative, follows through on commitments, embraces change, and seeks opportunities for growth and different perspectives. Balances attention to detail with the big picture, identifies critical project needs and the critical path, independently develops and manages scope, and maintains a high standard of customer service.

Desired Experience:

Experience leading and managing design and construction projects, including technical design, preparation and interpretation of plans and specifications, and coordination with staff, contractors, and consultants. Experience with infrastructure management, including bridges and pavements, as well as active transportation design. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of AutoCAD, Cartegraph and ArcGIS. Registered professional licensure.
