Pay Range:
$65 to $70 an hour.

Job Summary:
Lead medical device research and development projects from concept through commercialization. Own project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, milestones, and deliverables. Drive cross functional product development activities while maintaining alignment with quality and project objectives. Identify and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, and changes to support timely project execution. Partner with stakeholders and leadership to maintain effective communication, governance, and project progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead cross functional product development projects from concept through commercialization. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, priorities, and timelines. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Monitor project progress, milestones, costs, capacity, and deliverables. Identify, assess, mitigate, and escalate project risks, issues, and dependencies. Coordinate resources and drive timely resolution of project challenges. Communicate project status, risks, issues, and updates to stakeholders and leadership. Facilitate project meetings and maintain project documentation and governance. Balance development timelines and feature scope while maintaining quality standards. Drive lessons learned and continuous project and process improvement.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 7 or more years of leadership experience in medical device, biomedical, or high technology industry. 4 or more years of project management experience. Experience with medical device product development and project management. Experience leading cross functional teams and managing stakeholders. Experience with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and financial tracking. Experience with risk, issue, dependency, and change management. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem solving skills. Experience with MS Project, Smartsheet, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP certification. Advanced degree in Engineering, Sciences, Business Administration, or related field. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments. Experience with catheter or implantable medical device development.
