Role Description The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading and supporting the onsite project team on a major healthcare construction project. This role will work closely with the general contractor, field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery. Day-to-day responsibilities include project planning, coordination with field teams and subcontractors, logistics management, and expediting to keep materials and labor aligned with project schedules. The Senior Project Manager will conduct site inspections, monitor compliance with safety and union requirements, and resolve issues that may impact cost, quality, or schedule. The role will also involve client communication, progress reporting, risk management, and mentoring project staff to support successful project execution. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience with a construction management firm, general contractor, or similar organization. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field , or equivalent professional experience preferred. Demonstrated experience in project management , including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. Experience with expediting and coordinating the timely delivery of materials and trade activities. Hands-on experience with site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications and applicable codes. Strong logistics management skills, including material flow, equipment allocation, and site coordination. Proven experience managing commercial construction projects , preferably involving wall and ceiling systems or related trades. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to make decisions under schedule and budget constraints. Proficiency with construction project management software and standard office productivity tools.
