$110,000-$130,000 + Performance Bonuses Making Structures Stronger and Last Longer. Our expertise spans design-build services for new and existing structures, as well as complex repair and maintenance across commercial and infrastructure markets. As the union contracting business line of Structural Group, PULLMAN operates nationwide and is signatory to local, national, and international labor unions-bringing unmatched resources, expertise, and craftsmanship to every project. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Kansas City team. In this role, you'll lead complex restoration and repair projects that strengthen and extend the life of critical structures across the region. What You'll Do As a Project Manager at PULLMAN, you will take full ownership of project execution-from preconstruction through closeout-while leading high-performing teams and delivering exceptional results.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage self-performed, complex concrete repair and restoration projects Oversee contracts, including preparation and negotiation in collaboration with internal teams Develop and maintain project schedules alongside field leadership Own project financials, including P&L, forecasting, and cost control Lead and mentor project teams (Project Engineers, Field Managers, craft professionals, and subcontractors) Partner with Estimating and Business Development teams on bid reviews and proposal development Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business Champion safety and quality across all phases of work What You Bring We're looking for a driven, collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
7-12 years of experience in commercial construction and/or structural restoration Proven success managing projects ranging from $1M-$5M+ Experience with scopes such as: Structural concrete repair Waterproofing Facade restoration Historic restoration (preferred) Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and projections Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction/project management software Demonstrated leadership ability with a passion for mentoring and developing others Willingness to travel locally (approximately 20-30%) Who You Are A proactive problem-solver who can make decisions with confidence A strong communicator who builds trust quickly with clients and teams A collaborative leader who sets clear expectations and holds teams accountable Approachable, adaptable, and motivated to grow both personally and professionally We anticipate base compensation in the range of $110k-130k based off education, experience, and performance.
