In this role, you will coordinate all phases of landscape projects—from planning and design to installation and maintenance—while managing teams of skilled crew members. Your expertise in lawn care, landscape maintenance, hardscape installation, irrigation systems, and horticulture will drive successful project execution. Duties Plan, organize, and supervise landscape construction projects, including hardscape, planting, irrigation, and grounds maintenance efforts. Lead and manage project teams, including crew management and supervising subcontractors to ensure timely completion within budget. Oversee site assessments, plant identification, soil preparation, and ensure proper implementation of landscaping designs. Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to clarify project scope, timelines, and specifications. Manage irrigation systems installation and maintenance to optimize water efficiency and plant health. Operate company vehicles and landscaping equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Conduct quality control inspections throughout project phases to ensure standards are met or exceeded. Maintain detailed project documentation including schedules, budgets, progress reports, and safety records. Troubleshoot on-site issues related to plant health, hardscape challenges, or equipment malfunctions promptly. Promote team development through training in grounds maintenance techniques, equipment operation, horticulture best practices, and safety procedures. Requirements Proven experience in supervising landscape projects with a strong background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, hardscape installation, and gardening. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively across multiple construction sites. Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, tree care practices, and grounds maintenance techniques. Hands-on experience operating grounds maintenance equipment and outdoor tools safely and efficiently. Familiarity with irrigation management systems and troubleshooting irrigation issues on construction projects. Construction experience related to outdoor environments including hardscape features like patios or retaining walls. Valid driver's license with the ability to operate company vehicles responsibly. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in project planning and execution. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, team members, vendors, and stakeholders. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
