Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Project Manager III to lead and manage complex IT projects across multiple functional areas. This role is responsible for directing project teams through the design, implementation, and modification of enterprise-level technology initiatives while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with technical and business requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong IT project management experience, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects within a complex, highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and direct one or more cross-functional IT project teams. Develop comprehensive project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements. Identify and coordinate appropriate technical and business resources. Manage projects from planning through implementation and completion. Ensure projects meet established schedules, budgets, scope, and technical requirements. Provide technical and analytical guidance to project teams. Manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities. Identify project risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks and develop mitigation strategies. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, outsourced partners, vendors, and managed service providers. Provide clear project updates and communicate complex technical information to executive and non-technical audiences. Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and advancements within IT and project management. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience combinations: High School Diploma + 9 years of relevant experience Associate Degree + 7 years of relevant experience Bachelor's Degree + 5 years of relevant experience Master's Degree or higher + 3 years of relevant experience PhD + 0 years of experience Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years of successful enterprise-level IT project management experience. PMP certification preferred. Experience working within a heavily regulated industry, including defense or government contracting. Experience in shipbuilding, manufacturing, or similar industrial environments is highly desirable. Expert knowledge of multiple project management methodologies. Experience managing multiple concurrent projects within complex organizational structures. Experience working with outsourced partners and managed service providers. Proficiency with project management platforms such as Microsoft Project and ServiceNow PPM . Experience with Microsoft Planner Premium . Strong financial acumen with experience managing complex project budgets. Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong technical background with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to introduce structure and direction within ambiguous or rapidly changing environments. AI & Technology Experience Preferred candidates will also demonstrate: Experience using AI-powered project management tools for predictive scheduling, resource optimization, advanced risk analysis, or similar applications. Understanding of AI concepts and their application within project management and IT operations.
