Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects within scope, timeline, and budget. This role emphasizes cross-functional coordination, resource management, risk mitigation, and the implementation and sustainment of logistics related project improvement initiatives. The Project Manager ensures alignment with organizational goals while maintaining high standards of quality, communication, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Leads the planning and execution of projects to meet defined objectives, timelines, and budgets. Develops detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies. Coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved. Monitors project progress, identifies risks, and implements mitigation strategies. Ensures compliance with internal processes, SOPs, and project management standards. Facilitates regular project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications. Tracks and reports on project performance, including scope, schedule, cost, and quality metrics. Manages project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports. Collaborates with leadership to prioritize projects and align with strategic initiatives. Drives continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and implementing solutions. Manages vendor and third-party relationships as needed for project execution. Ensures effective change management and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
At least 5-7 years of project management experience in a corporate, logistics, or operations environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Project (or equivalent tools). Experience with project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project, or similar). Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid). PMP or similar certification preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Other:
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Excellent leadership and team coordination skills. Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must be able to execute job functions with minimal supervision.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary:
$85,000/year - $125,000/year based on experience 401K with up to 4% company match
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Schedule:
Mon - Fri (weekends as needed)
