Pay Rate:
$79.50-$84.00/hour We are seeking a Project Manager II (PM-II) to support Distribution Substation Optimization projects within the Carolinas West (Mountains Zone). This role plays a key part in strengthening the electrical grid and advancing a commitment to a net-zero carbon future by 2050 . The PM-II will have single-point accountability to the Manager of Project Management and will lead or support all phases of project planning and execution, ensuring success across scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and stakeholder engagement. This position manages a portfolio of low-to-moderate risk projects and serves as a central leader coordinating cross-functional teams and driving project delivery excellence. ????
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams across engineering, construction, supply chain, regulatory, and operations Drive project planning activities including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and procurement strategies Execute projects in alignment with approved scope, cost, and schedule constraints Establish strong communication channels with stakeholders, leadership, and external partners Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory standards ?

Utility industry experience
Preferred:
