Description:
Compression Mechanical is looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Inside Support / Project Coordinator to join our growing team in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Position Summary:
This position will provide office and operational support for our field technicians, project managers, customers, and vendors. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can stay organized while managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced industrial environment, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily support to field install technicians and project managers Coordinate scheduling of install technicians, equipment, and approved projects Communicate with customers regarding install project schedules and service needs Assist with preparing quotes, proposals, purchase orders, and work orders Track project materials, equipment, and deliveries Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and availability Help coordinate equipment deliveries, rentals, rigging, and other job-site requirements Maintain accurate project documentation and records Follow up on open quotes, projects, and customer requests Assist with job closeout documentation Review field paperwork and ensure jobs are properly documented Support management with administrative and operational tasks Maintain a professional and responsive relationship with customers and employees
Requirements:
Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and customer-service skills Ability to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word Experience with compressed air, piping, HVAC, industrial equipment, or construction is a plus but not required Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently Must be comfortable communicating with customers, vendors, and field personnel Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
