Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HHWY/Bridge Civil Project Manager to lead and oversee highway and bridge construction projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage complex civil infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. Responsibilities Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of highway and bridge construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Coordinate with clients, contractors, design teams, and regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth project progress and clear communication. Develop comprehensive project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project, incorporating critical milestones and resource allocations. Utilize structural analysis tools such as Mathcad, Revit, MicroStation, FEA (Finite Element Analysis), and Civil 3D to develop innovative structural designs for bridges and highways. Conduct building code analysis and ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal construction regulations and standards. Oversee the development of structural designs including steel, concrete, masonry, and geotechnical components using CAD software like AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation. Review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for accuracy; prepare detailed reports and technical writing as needed. Manage project engineering tasks such as site inspections, quality control procedures, safety protocols, and construction progress monitoring. Ensure building information modeling (BIM) practices are integrated into project workflows for efficient system design and coordination. Maintain clear client communication throughout the project lifecycle to address concerns promptly and foster strong professional relationships. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; PE (Professional Engineer) license preferred. Proven experience managing highway or bridge civil projects with a focus on structural design and construction oversight. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles including geotechnical engineering, system design, building code compliance, and construction regulations. Proficiency in structural analysis tools such as Mathcad, FEA software, Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Bluebeam for digital document management and markup. Hands-on experience with project scheduling software like Primavera P6 or MS Project to develop detailed timelines. Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) tools for integrated system design workflows. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated understanding of construction safety standards and quality assurance practices in civil infrastructure projects. Ability to interpret complex technical drawings related to concrete structural design, steel structures, masonry systems, and geotechnical aspects.
