What You'll Do:
- Own project execution from pre-construction handoff through punch list and closeout
- Schedule, coordinate, and hold accountable our trusted subcontractor partners across all trades
- Manage project budgets, change orders, and selections in JobTread, our project management platform
- Communicate proactively with homeowners — setting expectations, delivering updates, and having the honest conversations (timelines, budgets, surprises behind the drywall) that build trust
- Conduct site visits and quality inspections throughout active projects
- Collaborate with our estimating and office teams to keep budgets accurate and documents current
- Protect the client experience in occupied homes: clean sites, clear communication, respectful crews
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of residential
- remodeling
- project management experience (renovation of occupied homes — not just new construction)
- Proven ability to coordinate and manage subcontractors across multiple simultaneous projects
- Working knowledge of construction project management software (JobTread experience is a major plus; Buildertrend, CoConstruct, or similar also welcome)
- Strong understanding of residential building codes, permitting, and inspection processes in North Carolina
- Excellent client-facing communication skills — you're comfortable being the face of the project
- Detailed, organized, and calm under pressure
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Bonus points for:
- CAPS (Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist) certification or interest in earning it
- NARI involvement or certifications
- Experience with design-build workflows and selections management What We Offer
