Job Description

Sealand Contractors Corp, is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Sealand Contractors Corp. is now accepting resumes for the position of a Project Manager in the greater Charlotte region. This position requires experience with heavy highway construction. A successful candidate must fulfill the following requirements to be considered for this position: Have experience estimating and managing NCDOT projects or municipal projects utilizing NCDOT standards. Must have the ability to complete projects on time and within budget. Must have experience supervising and estimating projects of more than $3 million. Must be familiar with all aspects of highway construction. Must be comfortable reading and understanding project plans and specifications. Must be comfortable attending project meetings and interacting with subcontractors and suppliers. Must be motivated, organized, dependable, and able to work well under pressure. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Experience with HCSS estimating software a plus. This is not an entry level position. It is anticipated to be a long-term position, with a competitive wage and benefit package based on experience and knowledge within the field. References and a formal interview will be required.
