Description and Requirements Summary The Project Management Coordinator, Government Relations, North America provides program and operational support for government affairs and public policy activities. The role coordinates projects, tracks key policy initiatives, conducts research and drafts policy summaries, supports stakeholder engagement efforts, and helps ensure Government Relations priorities are executed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Policy & Legislative Tracking Maintain trackers for legislative, regulatory, and stakeholder engagement activities. Monitor policy developments and compile summaries on state legislative and regulatory developments related to artificial intelligence, data privacy, sustainability, and other issues of interest to the business. Stakeholder Engagement Act as a central point of contact to coordinate Government Relations projects, schedules, logistics, and briefings for meetings with government officials, lawmakers, and industry coalitions. Research & Materials Preparation Conduct policy research to draft high-quality briefing memos, policy one-pagers, and prep materials for the state GR team. Support preparation of briefing materials, presentations, and reports for leadership and government meetings. Identify and develop relevant content for GR newsletters, internal updates, and other communications highlighting key policy developments, industry trends, and GR activities. Data Management Maintain internal tracking systems for political updates, lobbyist registrations, and compliance reporting requirements. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Legal, Communications, Compliance, and business teams to support government affairs initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Public Affairs, Business, Communications, or a related field. 2 years of experience in project coordination, public affairs, government relations, legal operations, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tracking tools. Experience working with government, public policy, regulatory affairs, or corporate affairs teams. Knowledge of legislative or regulatory processes.
