Job Title:
Project Manager Job Description Assist in overseeing all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation, specifically focused on commercial construction properties. You will allocate resources for assigned projects and ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Responsibilities Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors, including carpenters and self-performing teams. Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients. Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications. Essential Skills Minimum 3 years of project engineering experience on commercial properties valued between 3-10 million dollars. Proven project management experience of at least 5 years. Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam. Ability to read schematics and blueprints. Possession of a Construction Management Degree. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with commercial construction management. Ability to provide project lists with budgets and scope of work. High-quality references that demonstrate the ability to manage a team, including a third reference from a superintendent. Strong leadership qualities and negotiation skills. Carpentry knowledge. Deadline and detail-oriented. Work Environment This role involves a combination of office work and site visits. Responsibilities include meeting with clients, following up on proposal submittals, ordering materials, and attending progress meetings. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.29 - $58.97/hr.
