This position requires someone who understands field operations, can read plans and perform layout, and is comfortable directing crews while managing projects from award through closeout. Responsibilities Manage commercial metal framing, drywall, insulation, ACT, and related scopes. Review blueprints, specifications, and contract documents for scope, constructability, and compliance. Perform and verify field layout, elevations, dimensions, wall locations, soffits, ceilings, and openings. Direct foremen and field crews, including manpower planning, scheduling, productivity, and quality control. Conduct regular site visits and resolve field conditions before they affect schedule or cost. Coordinate with general contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams. Manage RFIs, submittals, material procurement, change orders, schedules, and closeout documentation. Track labor, materials, project costs, and overall profitability. Maintain accurate project documentation in Procore. Ensure work meets safety requirements, quality standards, and project specifications. Qualifications At least five years of commercial metal framing and drywall experience. Proven experience managing projects and running field crews. Strong blueprint-reading and hands-on layout skills. Knowledge of light-gauge metal framing, drywall assemblies, and acoustical ceilings. Proficiency with Procore or similar construction-management software. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to projects throughout New Hampshire and Massachusetts. This is not a desk-only position. The Project Manager must be comfortable working directly with field teams, verifying layouts and installation, solving jobsite challenges, and taking ownership of project performance.
