Job Description

Project Coordinator About the Position We are looking for an organized and dependable Paint Project Coordinator to support our project management and field operations team. This position plays an important role in keeping commercial painting projects organized, on schedule, properly supplied, and well documented. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can manage multiple priorities, stay on top of details, and work effectively with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, customers, General Contractors, and vendors. Responsibilities
  • Support Project Managers with the day-to-day coordination of commercial painting projects.
  • Coordinate communication between the office, field crews, customers, and General Contractors.
  • Maintain project schedules, calendars, and important deadlines.
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain project information in company systems.
  • Complete, organize, and submit required project forms, paperwork, and documentation.
  • Track project progress, manpower, production, materials, and equipment.
  • Coordinate material orders, deliveries, and project supplies.
  • Maintain accurate project files, contracts, purchase orders, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and correspondence.
  • Assist with project billing, change orders, extra work, and closeout documentation.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, product availability, and deliveries.
  • Work with field personnel to ensure crews have the information, materials, and equipment needed to complete their work.
  • Track labor and production information to help Project Managers monitor project costs and profitability.
  • Assist with scheduling inspections, meetings, punch lists, and project closeout.
  • Identify potential scheduling, material, manpower, or jobsite issues and communicate them to the Project Manager.
  • Maintain professional relationships with customers, General Contractors, subcontractors, and vendors. Qualifications
  • Construction experience preferred; painting industry experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience in project coordination, construction administration, office administration, or a similar role preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
  • Comfortable completing forms, paperwork, and project documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, Excel, email, and project management systems.
  • Ability to read and understand basic construction plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Ability to work independently while being part of a team.
What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, dependable, detail-oriented, and takes ownership of their work. The right candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment and will take pride in keeping projects moving, maintaining accurate information, completing paperwork, and supporting our field teams. This position is located in Salem, NH. Relocation assistance is not available, and applicants should be able to commute to the work location.

From $65,000.00 per year
