Join a growing and winning Team as Project Manager! Founded in 1999 Effective Sign Works is a NJ based, full service sign company specializing in custom signage and brand rollouts. From single location small business applications to multi-state expansions, Effective Sign Works creates logo design, signage manufacturing and expert brand management including installations, of virtually any sign application across the US. Position Summary:
The Project Manager is a key role within the Operations Team and will be responsible to manage multiple sign and branding projects from signed contract through permitting, fabrication and installation with maximum efficiency and cost control. In this role, you must be able to develop and implement smart purchasing processes, maintain production timeliness and quality control, and develop lasting relationships with customers, vendors and internal staff.
Position Details:
Develop and execute a detailed manufacturing plan for small and large projects Communicate with customers and/or other project managers on job status and target installation dates, then implement this information into current production schedule Coordinate timely and cost controlled material procurement for production and develop a top supply chain Develop strong and lasting relationships with supply partners Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and of high quality Implement and help create departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures Comprehend work orders, shop drawings, bill of material, intent of installation Control departmental inventory Understanding and evaluating of fabrication methods for maximum efficiency Interact with Production and Installation teams to ensure clear communication and maximum job throughput Able to work in a shop environment including forklift operation, crating and uncrating of goods, general facility cleanup and light maintenance upon request
Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills to support competing priorities
  • Solid project management skills for technical, schedule, cost and risk management
  • Ability to quickly foster relationships and credibility at all levels
  • Bachelor's degree in technology, engineering or business-related field preferred
  • Budget and costing experience including tracking and reporting
  • Must have a strategic vision and understand custom manufacturing

$68,500.00 - $125,000.00 per year
