About Our Client Our client is a well-established and highly reputable General Contractor headquartered in Central New Jersey with a diverse portfolio spanning multifamily, commercial, healthcare, hospitality, educational, and institutional construction. With decades of industry experience, a strong project pipeline, and a commitment to employee development, they provide long-term career growth and stability for construction professionals. Job Description Support Project Managers with daily project coordination and administration. Manage permit applications and maintain permit-related documentation. Coordinate responses to permit comments with architects, engineers, and consultants. Track submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and project documentation. Maintain current project drawings and document control systems. Assist with project scheduling and schedule updates using Microsoft Project. Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain required project information and maintain schedules. Support bidding and procurement efforts by soliciting and reviewing subcontractor proposals. Attend owner, subcontractor, and project team meetings. Maintain project records, contact directories, and closeout documentation. Monitor project progress and assist with issue resolution. Develop a strong understanding of construction scopes and trades. Assist with successful project delivery from preconstruction through closeout. Support multiple large-scale multifamily construction projects throughout Central New Jersey. The Successful Applicant 1-5+ years of experience in construction project coordination, project engineering, estimating, purchasing, or field operations. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Understanding of permitting processes and construction documentation. Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills. Experience with Procore, ProjectSight, or similar construction management software preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project. Knowledge of multiple construction trades preferred. Construction Management degree preferred but not required. Self-motivated professional capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Interest in building a long-term career in construction project management What's on Offer Base salary up to $90,000. Annual discretionary bonus program averaging 5-10%. Employer-sponsored 401(k).
