Pay Transparency:
The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Essential Job Functions:
Manage a high-volume portfolio of projects with significant cross-functional and technology interdependencies, including operations, clinical, administrative, case management, finance, compliance/regulatory, and IT teams Establish and manage project governance, including executive steering committees, decision forums, and escalation pathways Proactively identify and review Governmental and Commercial Programs; assess the risk, scope, regulatory compliance, operational disruption, and change adoption; i.e. Medicare Shared Savings Program, various CMS Specialty Bundle Programs, etc. Track, validate, and report on financial and operational benefits, including cost savings, productivity gains, in both Governmental and Commercial Programs Ensure projects comply with healthcare regulations, internal controls, and quality standards Key role in various departmental initiatives; such as Medical Neighborhood, Network Integrity, Medical Record Abstraction Projects, and many other initiatives Develops project initiation process by defining project scope, determining action items, assigning ownership, creating project timetables, and tracking execution and workflow; prepares, presents and distributes project status reports Evaluates, plans, and monitors project implementation for clinical systems; manages project and project delivery teams, ensures deadlines are met, escalates issues for appropriate, timely resolution and adheres to standardized project management methodologies Operates under general guidance and work assignments are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action Performs related duties as required
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience A minimum of 2 years progressive experience in a major hospital, hospital system and/or private and public healthcare/biotechnology/health insurance companies Proven ability to solve problems creatively Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle Excellent analytical skills Excellent interpersonal skills (respected and approachable by team members, physicians, board members and community members) Experience in a large, advanced, complex health system is essential Experience within an integrated care system that includes multiple hospitals, a pluralistic medical staff, as well as an insurance product is ideal Thorough knowledge and understanding of current trends in health care, including physician hospital relations, physician practice models, access issues, clinical information systems, and the implications of changing health care environment for medical credentialing are essential Knowledge of EHRs Ability to improve processes Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms
