We are hiring an Assistant Project Manager in Philadelphia to keep that connection strong across contracts, schedules, budgets, suppliers and project teams. You will support Project Managers from early opportunity review through delivery and closeout, taking ownership of defined coordination and administration. This associate-level role suits someone with early experience in construction, engineering, project coordination, accounting administration or agency delivery who is ready for broader responsibility. From opportunity to active project Track prospective projects and organize bid documents, plans, specifications and addenda. Support take-offs, qualification information, bidder lists and internal project setup. Create and maintain project files, contact lists, meeting records and action logs. Prepare purchase-order, change-order, insurance, lien-waiver and contract-administration documentation. Update schedules, delivery dates and progress information, highlighting changes to the Project Manager. Control during delivery Monitor budgets, commitments, invoices, accruals and forecast inputs with project and finance colleagues. Coordinate information between managers, engineers, field teams, clients and vendors. Prepare agendas, capture decisions and follow outstanding actions through to completion. Identify missing information, schedule pressure or scope risk and raise it before it affects delivery. Support project closeout, final documentation, billing milestones and lessons learned. The background that fits We are looking for approximately one to three years of project coordination, construction administration, accounting support or related experience. An associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, accounting, finance or legal studies is helpful. Strong Excel and Word skills, careful document control and confident communication with technical and commercial stakeholders are essential. How the role develops 1. Progress toward managing lower-complexity projects with oversight. The employment package The salary range is $65,000-$78,000.
