Job Description
Part-Time Project Manager/Permit Coordinator (We Will Train You) Sunrise Signs Gloucester City, NJ Job Details Part-time $25 - $28 an hour 19 hours ago Qualifications Order tracking Public permit project coordination Project stakeholder communication Entry level Progress tracking (project management tasks) Under 1 year Client interaction via phone calls Full Job Description Sunrise Signs, Gloucester City, NJ Do you notice when the invitation says Saturday the 14th, and the 14th is a Sunday? Keep reading. We make signs. Big ones, small ones, the kind you drive past every day and never think about. Storefronts, office buildings, warehouses, and entire apartment complexes. Here is the thing about signs. They are permanent. If a customer's name is spelled wrong, we do not fix it with an apology. We build the whole thing again. So we need somebody who catches the wrong letter before it becomes a wrong sign. The job You keep projects moving and you keep nothing from falling through the cracks. A big piece of this is permits. Every city has its own forms, its own rules, and its own person behind the counter who will send you home over one missing signature. You will fill out those forms. You will call those offices. You will follow up until the permit is in your hand. The rest of the day looks like this: Track jobs from the order to the install Chase the pieces we are waiting on from other people Proactively keep dates and statuses updated so everybody knows where things stand Call customers with real answers instead of "let me check on that" Notice when two documents say two different things, and fix it before it costs somebody money Who this is for You are the person who catches the typo on the wedding invitation. You keep a list, and you actually look at the list. When somebody says they will call you back Thursday, you write down Thursday. You are also friendly on the phone. That part matters. You will be calling permit clerks who are busy and have heard every excuse. The goal is to be the person they do not mind hearing from. You do not need any sign experience. None. We will teach you the sign part. We cannot teach you to care about details. Who this is not for The projects are big. Your job is small stuff, all day, done right. Somebody else designs it. You are the reason it gets built on time and spelled correctly. If that sounds thankless, this is not for you. If that sounds satisfying, we should talk. The details Part time. Roughly [15-20] hours a week, we're flexible on which ones and start/stop times. This is a real part time job, not a full time job squeezed into part time hours. Tell us what your week looks like and we will build around it. In our Gloucester City shop. This is not remote. Permits, drawings, and people live here.
