Job Description:
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial interior construction projects from preconstruction through completion. The ideal candidate has a strong background managing interior renovations, tenant improvements, office build-outs, multifamily projects or other commercial interiors projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage commercial interior construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall project plans. Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors. Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work. Manage subcontractor bidding, buyout, contract negotiations, and procurement. Track project costs, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and purchase orders. Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders. Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential delays or cost issues. Work closely with the Superintendent to coordinate field operations and project schedules. Review subcontractor invoices and assist with monthly project forecasting. Manage owner relationships and provide regular project updates. Ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, building codes, and quality standards. Assist with permitting, inspections, and coordination with local authorities when required. Manage project closeout, punch lists, warranties, and final documentation. Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the construction process. Qualifications 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience. Experience with interior construction, tenant improvements, renovations, or build-outs strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred. Strong understanding of construction documents, contracts, schedules, and project financials. Experience managing subcontractors and multiple project stakeholders. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects or priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management software. Experience with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, or similar platforms preferred.
