full-time You're not here to coordinate a project. You're here to own it. A growing NYC-based mechanical contractor is looking for an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of complex mechanical and public works projects. Every project is treated like its own business and you're the person running it. The Role You'll own the project from start to finish, including:

  • Schedule, cost and overall project performance
  • Subcontractor management and accountability
  • Billing, approvals and collections
  • Procurement, sequencing and project planning
  • Client relationships and day-to-day decision making
  • Protecting margins and identifying risks before they become problems You'll be expected to stay 2-3 weeks ahead of the job, make decisions, solve problems and keep your team moving. This is a role for someone who takes ownership rather than waits for direction. What we're looking for
  • Experience managing heavy mechanical, civil. plumbing, HVAC or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, sequencing and cost control
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Public works / NYC construction experience preferred
  • Strong subcontractor and client management skills
  • An ownership mindset and the ability to solve problems independently What's on offer ?
