Job Description:
ASRS Project Manager Coordinate all projects and ensure company resources are utilized appropriately. Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, manages project meetings, and identifies and resolves technical problems. Identifies and analyzes project requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables with special attention to customer requirements. Will include creating/monitoring engineering schedules, material acquisition, outside purchases and installation. Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately. Prepare and maintain a budget for the project. Requires a bachelor's degree in either Civil/Mechanical/Industrial engineering or a minimum of 5 years' experience. Any experience in the field or in a related area of material handling or construction management is a plus Will need to become familiar with all facets of material handling and warehouse concepts, practices, and procedures. A degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a department manager. ASRS Project Managers will handle projects ranging from 500,000 to 10,00,000 plus. Communication skills are essential. Site travel will be required as deemed necessary to maintain project schedule. Customer retention skills are of primary importance. Candidates should possess a sociable demeanor in order to be able to deal with other trades on project sites.
