Job Description
Join a well-established construction team known for delivering high-end interior build-out projects across New Jersey and New York City, with expertise in complex work performed in active and occupied environments. This Senior Project Manager opportunity is based in NYC/NJ and is an exciting chance for an experienced construction professional to lead impactful commercial interior projects while working in one of the most fast-paced and rewarding markets in the country. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Project Manager position include: 10-15+ years of experience in interior construction, including commercial interiors, tenant improvements, and fit-out projects Manage multiple interior construction projects from preconstruction through closeout Deep understanding of interior build-out scope in active and occupied environments Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and overall project performance Familiarity with NYC building requirements, codes, permitting, and inspection processes Lead coordination across trades, review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Proven ability to maintain strong client relationships while identifying and mitigating project risks Support project delivery by ensuring quality, safety, compliance, and mentoring junior project staff
Salary :
$140,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.Benefits :
This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage with 85% employer-paid for individual coverage, a 401(k) with 6% match, 4 weeks of PTO, 11 paid holidays, and auto allowance.
