Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator/Project Manager for our busy bodyshop. In this role, you will lead the estimation process for vehicle repairs, coordinate repair projects from start to finish, and ensure customer satisfaction through accurate assessments and efficient management. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, collision repair, and mechanical knowledge will drive successful outcomes. Duties Prepare detailed repair estimates using advanced estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage, including collision repair, suspension, brakes, shocks & struts, transmissions, oil changes, tire service, and other mechanical repairs Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair scope, costs, and timelines to ensure transparency and build trust Manage repair projects from initial estimate through completion, coordinating with technicians and service staff to meet deadlines Upsell additional services such as vehicle maintenance or enhancements to maximize customer value and shop revenue Maintain accurate documentation of all estimates, work orders, and client communications Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service Requirements Proven experience in automotive estimating and collision repair environments; dealership experience is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on mechanic experience or background in automotive diagnostics and repair Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating systems Knowledge of auto service management practices including service writing, customer communication, and sales techniques Familiarity with automotive repairs such as brake repair, suspension work, shocks & struts replacement, transmission servicing, oil changes, tire services, and general vehicle maintenance Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence Ability to upsell additional services confidently while maintaining integrity and transparency Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to drive company vehicles as needed Cash handling experience is a plus but not mandatory Join our team to play a vital role in delivering exceptional collision repair services! Pay:
$62,744.60 - $75,563.39 per year
