Project Manager JGF Built Las Cruces, NM Job Details Full-time $80,000 - $110,000 a year 11 hours ago Benefits Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Teamwork Driver's License Records management Attention to detail Time management Full Job Description Position Summary JGF Built, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee heavy civil construction projects from contract award through completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for project administration, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, subcontractor coordination, owner communication, pay applications, change orders, and overall project performance. Pay is DOE. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, financially aware, and comfortable managing multiple aspects of a construction project while working closely with field operations. Key Responsibilities Manage heavy civil construction projects from start to finish. Review contracts, plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project requirements. Establish and maintain project schedules. Coordinate with General Superintendents, Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, inspectors, and owners. Monitor project budgets, costs, commitments, and profitability. Track project quantities, production, labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor costs. Prepare, review, and submit pay applications. Prepare and manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, correspondence, and other project documentation. Review subcontractor and vendor invoices for accuracy. Maintain accurate project records and documentation. Attend owner, contractor, and project coordination meetings. Communicate project status, schedule, budget, and potential issues to company management. Identify potential cost overruns, delays, conflicts, and other project risks. Work with field personnel to develop solutions to construction issues. Assist with procurement and material coordination. Review project schedules and ensure required work is completed on time. Maintain positive relationships with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors. Assist with project closeout, final quantities, punch lists, warranties, and final payment. Ensure project documentation is complete and organized. Perform other duties as needed. Qualifications 3+ years of construction project management experience preferred. Heavy civil construction experience preferred. Strong understanding of construction contracts, plans, specifications, and project documentation. Experience with project scheduling and cost tracking. Understanding of construction estimating and project costs. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities. Strong attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with both field and office personnel. Valid driver's license. Preferred Experience Underground utilities. Earthwork and grading. Asphalt paving. Concrete construction. Storm drainage. Water and sewer installation. Public works/government projects. AIA pay applications and construction billing. Change orders and contract administration.
