Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a Lead - Prefabrication Project Controls professional to support large-scale electrical prefabrication operations serving mission-critical and data center construction projects. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in electrical prefabrication, production management, manufacturing planning, modular construction, BIM/VDC, or Project Controls. While direct Project Controls experience is beneficial, candidates with strong production or prefab leadership backgrounds and excellent analytical skills are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Establish and maintain project controls reporting for electrical prefabrication operations. Validate and integrate engineering, scheduling, production, procurement, and construction data into project controls systems. Monitor planned versus actual production quantities, labor hours, productivity, earned hours, and forecasting. Track work packages from Engineering Release through Production, Quality Control, Shipping, Delivery, and Field Installation. Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, executive reports, and production forecasts. Coordinate with Engineering, VDC/BIM, Production, Scheduling, Procurement, and Construction teams. Validate data consistency across BIM, scheduling, and project controls systems. Support forecasting, earned value reporting, variance analysis, and schedule integration. Maintain standardized reporting structures and project controls governance. Identify reporting risks, missing information, and opportunities for process improvement. Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives for prefabrication reporting. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, or a related discipline preferred. Approximately 8-15 years of relevant experience. Experience supporting mission-critical, industrial, or data center construction projects preferred. Strong understanding of electrical prefabrication, manufacturing workflows, production planning, and productivity measurement. Experience with modular construction or manufacturing environments is highly desirable. Proficiency with Primavera P6, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and ERP/MRP systems is preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively across Engineering, Production, Procurement, Scheduling, and Construction teams.
