We're seeking an Assistant Project Manager who is eager to grow their career while gaining hands-on experience with project planning, field coordination, subcontractor management, and project execution. You'll work alongside experienced construction leaders and play a key role in keeping major projects on schedule, within budget, and moving toward successful completion. Key Responsibilities Assist Project Managers with planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects Support procurement efforts, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation Monitor project schedules, budgets, and overall progress Participate in project meetings and communicate with field teams Review and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project reports Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams Track key milestones and help ensure project deadlines are met Support day-to-day project operations and problem-solving efforts What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 1-5+ years of experience in: Construction Project Engineering Project Coordination Assistant Project Management Related construction management roles Understanding of construction project management principles and field operations Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment Experience supporting commercial, industrial, manufacturing, data center, or mission-critical construction projects Preferred Experience Electrical construction, power distribution, MEP, or related project experience Familiarity with electrical drawings, scopes of work, submittals, and project documentation Experience supporting electrical contractors or electrical portions of large construction projects Reno-area candidates strongly preferred Work Environment This role offers a blend of office and project site exposure, providing valuable experience across all aspects of construction project management. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Reno, NV. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
