Job Description Manage public works construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration activities. Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure successful project delivery. Monitor project costs, forecasts, and financial performance while maintaining profitability targets. Identify and mitigate project risks while driving schedule and quality objectives. Support and mentor project team members throughout project execution. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, safety standards, and client expectations. Play a key role in maintaining client relationships and securing repeat business opportunities. Experience delivering public sector projects; education, university, or institutional project experience preferred. Strong understanding of project financial management, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration. Ability to lead multiple stakeholders and manage complex construction projects. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Experience working closely with field operations, superintendents, and subcontractors. Stable career history with a reputable general contractor. Ability to work from the Reno/Sparks market.
