Project Manager Overview We're seeking a driven and experienced Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of grant-funded capital improvement projects. This role offers hands-on ownership of impactful infrastructure and facility upgrades, with the opportunity to manage 3-4 concurrent projects from planning through completion. What You'll Be Doing As a Project Manager, you'll oversee complex construction and infrastructure initiatives across multiple disciplines, including: Managing building improvements, roofing, parking areas, grading, drainage, and roadway projects Leading high-visibility public safety facility upgrades, including a substation improvement project with jail cell installation Overseeing a sewer plant piping replacement project from planning through execution Managing water infrastructure initiatives to ensure safe and reliable supply Handling all aspects of project management, including design coordination, change orders, engineering support, and construction oversight Driving capital improvement projects with a strong focus on schedule, budget, and quality Leading RFP development, contractor selection, and ongoing documentation control What We're Looking For Required Experience & Skills 4-6 years of project management experience, preferably within construction or public infrastructure Strong construction management and project engineering background Experience managing capital improvement projects involving buildings, utilities, grading, and drainage Working knowledge of roadway, sewer, and water infrastructure projects Proven experience managing RFP processes and coordinating multiple stakeholders Why This Role Stands Out High level of project ownership and visibility Variety of meaningful, hands-on projects with real community impact Opportunity to work independently while managing multiple initiatives Consultant-to-hire role with long-term potential Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia City, NV.
