Job Description

Overview The Assistant Project Manager will support Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and executing electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in construction and a desire to build a long-term career in project management within the electrical contracting industry. Duties Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project operations Review plans, specifications, and contract documents Support project setup including submittals, RFIs, and procurement Track and manage material orders, deliveries, and lead times Coordinate with field supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and vendors Help maintain project schedules and budgets Assist in preparing change orders and cost estimates Monitor job costs, labor productivity, and project progress Maintain accurate project documentation and reports Participate in project meetings and client communications Support project closeout (as-builts, O&M manuals, punch lists) Experience Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred) 1-4 years of experience in construction project coordination or similar role Experience in electrical construction strongly preferred Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong organizational and time-management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with project management software is a plus (Procore, Accubid, etc.) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability This position offers an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise in electrical construction management while contributing to impactful projects. Pay:
