Senior Project Manager Roofing, New Construction Astoria, Queens Salary :

Up to $150,000 per year + Benefits + 401k and travel allowances An established New York roofing contractor is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of roofing packages on new-construction projects throughout the NYC metropolitan area. Working as a specialist subcontractor to leading General Contractors, you will manage approximately 9-10 active projects at different stages of delivery. This position requires strong technical knowledge of commercial roofing, excellent organization and the confidence to communicate effectively with General Contractors, field teams, vendors and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities Manage 9-10 roofing projects concurrently from award through closeout Review architectural drawings, specifications, details and approved submittals Coordinate roofing scopes with General Contractors, architects and other trades Manage project schedules, procurement, material deliveries and subcontractor activities Track budgets, change orders, RFIs, submittals and project documentation Attend project meetings and provide clear updates on progress, risks and outstanding items Work closely with field supervisors to ensure projects are delivered safely, correctly and on schedule Maintain strong relationships with General Contractors and project stakeholders Requirements At least 5-6 years of construction project management experience Direct experience managing commercial roofing packages on new-construction projects Experience working for a roofing contractor or specialist subcontractor Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication, organization and stakeholder-management skills Good understanding of project costs, schedules, change orders and construction documentation Comfortable working in a fast-paced, accountable and client-facing environment This is an excellent opportunity for an established Roofing Project Manager who wants to take ownership of a substantial project portfolio with a respected and growing New York contractor.
