The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex roofing systems, including IRMA roofing, conventional rooftops, green spaces, pavers, and sheet metal work. This role requires a detail-oriented leader capable of ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. The Senior Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and project execution. Responsibilities Lead and manage roofing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project plans and schedules tailored to NYC roofing systems. Oversee daily project activities, including site inspections, safety compliance, procurement, and resource allocation. Monitor progress and address any issues or delays proactively to keep projects on track. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Review project documentation such as drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Manage change orders and client communications effectively while maintaining strong professional relationships. Conduct regular site visits to assess workmanship quality and safety practices. Prepare detailed reports on project status, budgets, and potential risks for stakeholders. Requirements Minimum of five years of experience managing roofing projects in NYC with expertise in IRMA roofing systems. Proven experience with conventional rooftop systems, green roof spaces, pavers, and sheet metal work. Strong knowledge of NYC building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices related to roofing construction. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and subcontractors simultaneously. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in project planning and execution. Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications accurately. Valid relevant certifications or licenses preferred but not mandatory.
Pay:
$120,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
