Full Job Description Primary Objective:
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of custom sign, service, and fuel rebranding projects—from permitting to fabrication and final installation. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to manage timelines, budgets, and client expectations while coordinating with internal teams, vendors, permitting authorities, and installation crews.Project Management:
Oversee the full project lifecycle for signage, service and fuel rebranding projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to client specifications. Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on schedule, quality, and cost control. Develop project timelines and critical path schedules in coordination with internal departments.Permitting & Code Compliance:
Research and apply applicable municipal, zoning, and building codes for signage. Submit permit applications and manage the permitting process with local jurisdictions. Act as a liaison between the company and permitting authorities to resolve code compliance or variance issues. Coordinate with landlords, property managers, and city officials as needed to secure approvals. Procurement- Order and source materials for projects according to specified brand books and/or design renderings and scope of work. Verify all materials for ship in's for Fuel Branding projects have been received.
- Maintain inventory and storage of unused materials to utilize non-returnable items in future projects.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain detailed project documentation, including permits, estimates, and change orders. Track project budgets and timelines; prepare regular progress updates and reports. Perform project close out to ensure all expenses are accounted for and job costing is accurateQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in project management, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (preferred). 3-5 years of experience in signage, construction, or custom fabrication project management. Proven experience with estimating, permitting, and regulatory compliance. Strong understanding of sign types, materials, fabrication processes, and installation methods. Proficiency in reading blueprints, site plans, and construction drawings. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Proficient inSquare Coil ERP Physical & Work Requirements:
Must be able to conduct job site visits and site surveys. Occasional travel to client locations, city offices, and job sites. Comfortable working in office and field environments. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly organized.- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
