Job Description

Overview Confidential is seeking a highly experienced Commercial HVAC Project Manager to lead projects and mentor technicians. This position must be comfortable working in the field; facilities-management-only experience is not a fit. A retired senior technician or senior technician seeking a less physically demanding role may also be a strong candidate. Responsibilities Manage multiple commercial HVAC projects concurrently. Visit job sites, meet with field crews, track progress, and attend job meetings. Create budgets and track project costs. Manage procurement of approved and specified equipment to support on-time delivery and project schedules. Create and distribute closeout documents after final payment. Create and track project submittals, RFIs, piping shop drawings, and sheet-metal shop drawings. Maintain tracking logs for equipment, materials, approvals, orders, shipping, warehouse receipt, and job-site delivery. Attend weekly office and field meetings to coordinate job progress and timelines. Create takeoffs for insulation, sheet metal, piping, and equipment on upcoming project bids. Communicate effectively with field workers, clients, and suppliers. Ensure work complies with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally. Qualifications At least 5 years of commercial HVAC trade/project-management experience. Knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, insulation, hydronic piping, refrigerant piping, and controls. Mechanical knowledge and strong troubleshooting skills. Strong leadership, management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Engineering background and closeout-document experience are pluses. Universal EPA certification preferred.
