Full Time- Exempt Job Summary Project manager receives handoff from estimator upon receipt of Purchase Order. This is the formal start for each assigned project. PM will read and understand entire project scope and handle all aspects of project implementation and close out, including billing obligations. Essential Job Functions
  • Meet with estimator to receive project handoff. Communicate with customer.
  • Communicate with Project Scheduler on manpower needs and requested project timeframe.
  • Develop equipment and materials required for project.
  • Develop and keep an updated project schedule either in MS Project or Excel. Post/share schedule as needed.
  • Handle submittals, material ordering, subcontractors, worker hours and change orders.
  • Track EHS plans, required inspections, billings based on SOV or monthly.
  • Meet with Project Superintendent - review requirements of project including schedule, scope of work, and potential safety hazards to be aware of.
  • Write and submit detailed DCR's each day. Include pertinent photos.
  • Take actions to mitigate problems. Troubleshoot issues to keep project on schedule and budget.
  • Take care of all project closeout items - submittals, QAQC, Final Site Walkthrough, etc Core Competencies

                            • Attend staff, departmental, and other required meetings and trainings.

                            • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications, Experience, and Education
                            • High School diploma or GED.
                            • Vocational or Technical training in construction services, project management or engineering technology.
                            • Associate's degree in general technology, project manager or engineering studies or equivalent combination of education and experience.
                            • [Bachelor's degree in engineering or project management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
                            • 5+ years of experience in construction, technology or project management .
                            • Working knowledge of MS Office products including spreadsheets.
                            MS Project experience is a plus.
                            Pay:
                            $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
