Primarily remote, with occasional onsite requirements in the Albany, NY area

Duration:

6-12 month contract, opportunity for extension and/or conversion to permanent hire

Pay:

$40-45/hr.

Hours:

M-F, 8am-5pm Are you a hands-on Project Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments where priorities shift, collaboration matters, and your work directly impacts communities? Our client, a highly respected and rapidly evolving healthcare-focused organization based in the Capital Region, is seeking a Project Manager to help lead strategic initiatives that improve access to care, strengthen provider partnerships, and support large-scale transformation efforts across New York State. This is an excellent opportunity to join an organization doing meaningful work at the intersection of healthcare, operations, and community impact.

What You'll Do:

Lead multiple cross-functional projects from kickoff through execution Keep stakeholders aligned, engaged, and accountable to timelines Identify risks, remove roadblocks, and keep initiatives moving forward Build and maintain project plans, timelines, logs, and status reporting Facilitate productive meetings with clear ownership and next steps Coordinate internal teams, external partners, and vendors Support implementation of new programs, process improvements, and operational changes

What We're Looking For:

3+ years of Project Management experience Strong ability to drive projects rather than simply track them Experience managing multiple priorities in a changing environment Excellent communication, meeting facilitation, and organizational skills Comfortable working in lean, collaborative teams where adaptability is key Healthcare, health plan, Medicaid, social services, or non-profit industry experience Microsoft Office Suite Project management tools such as Smartsheet, Monday.com, MS Project, or similar
