This role supports the management of luxury and national retail fit-out and tenant improvement projects for brands such as Coach, Prada, Nike, Christian Dior, and Zara, working closely with project managers, site superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within scope.

Salary range: $65,000-$85,000+, contingent on experience

Qualifications:
2-3+ years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager
Demonstrated experience with luxury and national retail fit-outs and tenant improvement projects for brands such as Coach, Prada, Nike, Christian Dior, and Zara
Experience with remodels of operating businesses and complete fit-outs of new spaces; ground-up construction experience is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
Experience with Procore, Raken, PlanGrid, and Timberline is strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of construction management methods and processes
Ability to read blueprints and develop takeoffs and subcontractor scope documents
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams, clients, and subcontractors
Responsibilities:
Work alongside the project manager to assist with developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring field staff provide accurate 3-week look-ahead schedules
Prepare and assemble complete start-up packages for field superintendents, including site books, green books, current drawing sets, and coordination of porta-potties and dumpsters
Ensure subcontractors are always working from the latest plan set and that updated drawings are distributed promptly
Follow up with subcontractors to confirm insurance documentation is received prior to the start of their scope
Track and coordinate project materials such as restroom accessories, tile, wallpaper, furniture, lighting packages, and specialty items
Collect all subcontractor submittals, provide them to the client, and maintain accurate tracking logs
Review subcontractor-submitted change orders, coordinate with the project manager, and submit to the client for approval
Release approved change orders and track them in the project folder and budget
Conduct daily check-ins with the site superintendent to monitor project progress, address issues, and loop in the project manager as needed
Coordinate and facilitate weekly project calls with the client, architect of record, engineer of record, and site superintendent
Compile and distribute weekly client packages including weekly reports, 3-week look-ahead schedules, RFI logs, submittal logs, site photos, and project schedules
Maintain and update all third-party software platforms including Raken, PlanGrid, and Timberline
Follow up on open change orders to ensure timely resolution
Initiate and coordinate closeout documentation requests to subcontractors in alignment with the project schedule
