After School Spanish Assistant Teacher - Earn Extra in the Afternoons! Spanish Immersion Workshop (SIW), Long Island's leading Spanish program for children, is looking for a fluent/native Spanish-speaking teacher to inspire and engage kids ! If you love working with children, value bilingualism, and want to earn extra money in the afternoons and Saturdays , this is the job for you. Ideal for future teachers, current students in education programs, recent graduates, seasoned educators, or anyone passionate about promoting bilingualism in children's lives.
Hours:
Monday-Thursday, 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm | Saturday, 8:30 am - 1:45 pm
Location:
Garden City, Long Island, NY What You'll Do:
help lead high-energy Spanish classes incorporating music, movement, games, stories, and crafts Keep children engaged and active — including carpet-level activities! Use our immersive teaching methods and curriculum (full training provided) Promote bilingualism and a love for Spanish in every class
Requirements:
Native Spanish speaker Conversational English (read, write, speak) LOVE working with children Valid work permit
