About The Role As a Work Management Specialist at United Utility, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business unit. Your meticulous attention to detail and expertise in project documentation will directly contribute to the financial health of our organization, allowing us to continue providing exceptional service to our customers and driving our mission forward. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day administrative tasks including document preparation, scheduling, meeting coordination, and office support. Prepare in the preparation and submission of project documentation including timesheets, daily reports, purchase orders, and change orders. Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for job sites and project records. Support project managers with tracking project deliverables, deadlines, and resource allocation. Assist with payroll processing and printing checks as needed. Ensure accurate documentation of subcontractor agreements, insurance certificates, and safety records. Coordinate logistics for crew mobilizations, equipment delivery, and subcontractor onboarding Key Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Preferred not required) Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Business Support Specialist in power utilities, construction, or related field Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. In-office position Monday - Friday. Key Nice-To-Haves Sage 300 experience HR/ Payroll experience with the IBEW Union Contract Administration experience a plus! Key Info While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with arms.
