Role Summary:
A growing Business Transformation Office at GlobalFoundries seeks a personable and highly motivated Program Manager / Operating model change driver to support a major technology transformation program in day-to-day project management tasks and activities. This Global Digital Transformation role, at an individual contributor capacity, will help GlobalFoundries shape what's essential by leading with influence for the future of technology that powers our daily lives. This position will report to the Director of Business Transformation, and the role will be located fully on site in Malta, NY.
Essential Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of multi-phase operating model implementation in collaborating with manufacturing teams Drive change and proactive, productive conversations to improve adaptation of the new improved operating models and Best-Known Methods Execute business OKRs (Objectives and Key Results), while understanding overall business needs and program milestones, collaborating with manufacturing teams, Business capability group leads, Solution delivery teams, and Partners to drive readiness for system implementation and provide feedback timely Work effectively with others in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, while exuding comfortability in matrix management environments Ensuring project complies with best practices, SOPs, PMO policies, and other policies Provide consistent and clear communications between all project stakeholders and report on progress to the Executive Steering Committee (VP, SVP, COO) Success in the role is defined by demonstrating the ability to get stakeholder buy in at a faster rate, implementation of the operating models on time, and have zero to minimum impact to operations from system rollout
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs Other duties / tasks as assigned by manager or supervisor
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business administration, Information Systems, Program Management, or related discipline
Experience:
Minimum 7-8 years' experience in leading change management initiatives, developing and implementing business process improvements, and managing stakeholder engagement Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS PowerPoint, fluency in Microsoft 365 programs) Travel
  • Up to 10% Fluency in English Language
  • both written & verbal Experience in leading large change management program/implementation with stakeholder alignment Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
Master of science degree in engineering, business administration, information systems, program management, or related discipline
Experience:
Minimum 9+ years relevant experience in leading change management initiatives, implementing business process improvements, and managing stakeholder engagement Background in management consulting with ability to create story boards/presentations with quick turnaround Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment or semiconductor industry Certifications or training in change management methodologies Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Expected Salary Range $118,000.00
