Store Associate - Beer UniverseJob Overview Join the Beer Universe team as a Store Associate! In this role, you'll be a key part of our day-to-day store operations — from ringing up customers to keeping our coolers stocked and our shelves full. This is a cross-trained position , meaning you won't just do one thing — you'll work alongside your teammates to keep the whole store running smoothly. Your energy, accuracy, and reliability will directly impact the customer experience and the success of your store. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers with product questions, purchases, and checkout Operate the register accurately — handling cash, card, and redemption transactions without errors Accept and process bottle/can redemptions in accordance with state guidelines Receive incoming deliveries and help put away stock in the correct locations (coolers, shelves, and backstock) Fill and rotate coolers throughout the shift to keep products cold and fully stocked Stock shelves, organize backstock, and help maintain accurate inventory Keep the store floor, coolers, stockroom, and other work areas clean, organized, and safe Take out recycling and cardboard and help maintain a clean receiving area Work as part of a cross-trained team — everyone pitches in wherever needed; no single role is "not my job" Support merchandising and product placement efforts Requirements Previous retail or beverage store experience preferred but not required — training provided Comfortable handling cash and operating a register accurately Strong attention to detail, especially with redemption counts and stock accuracy Ability to lift cases of product, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in cooler environments Reliable, team-first attitude — willing to jump in on whatever the store needs that day Basic math skills for transactions and inventory counts Benefits 401(k) retirement plan Health insurance benefits coming soon Employee growth and advancement opportunities On-the-job training Growth Opportunity Beer Universe promotes from within.
