We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to oversee and coordinate various mechanical engineering projects from conception through completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills and a solid understanding of construction processes, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with all regulations. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with clients, contractors, and team members to achieve project goals. Duties- Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of mechanical projects while adhering to timelines and budgets. Develop and review schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications.
- Utilize construction management software to track project progress, manage resources, and communicate with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with various teams including engineering, procurement, and construction to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Prepare detailed project estimates and contracts, ensuring all aspects of the project are accounted for.
- Implement effective time management strategies to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in project management within the construction or mechanical engineering sectors.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential.
- Familiarity with construction estimating practices and contract management.
- Strong knowledge of Civil 3D software is a plus. Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
