Full healthcare benefits, retirement plan with company match, paid time off, and additional perks About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM) with experience in multifamily construction projects to join our clients growing team in New York City. The APM will support the Project Manager and Superintendent in all phases of construction, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to take the next step in their construction management career. Key Responsibilities Assist Project Manager in overseeing day-to-day construction operations on multifamily residential projects. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to maintain project schedules and quality standards. Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements. Support preparation of RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation. Monitor project budgets and track costs against forecasts. Participate in onsite walkthroughs and inspections, addressing issues promptly. Ensure compliance with safety, building codes, and local NYC regulations. Maintain clear communication between field and office teams to support project success. Qualifications 2-5+ years of experience in construction management Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. Strong knowledge of NYC construction codes, DOB requirements, and permitting processes. Proficiency with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar). Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $100,000•$125,000 , based on experience. Full benefits package including healthcare, dental, and vision coverage. 401(k) with company match.
