Autel North America - United States Autel US is headquartered in Port Washington, New York. Autel develops, manufactures and markets diagnostic tools, equipment, and accessories in the automotive aftermarket. Since our inception, we have been committed to creating maximum long-term value for our customers by providing technologically advanced, yet, easy-to-use and cost-effective products and solutions.
GENERAL:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Product Project Manager to join this exciting new division of the AUTEL brand. The Product Project Manager will lead and oversee projects from concept through launch, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure products are delivered successfully, on time, and in alignment with business objectives and go-to-market strategies. This role will serve as a central point of contact for internal teams, customers, and other key stakeholders, managing project timelines, milestones, budgets, deliverables, and priorities. The successful candidate will proactively monitor progress, identify risks and opportunities, resolve issues, and keep stakeholders informed throughout the entire product lifecycle. Strong leadership, organization, communication, collaboration, and the ability to drive accountability across multiple teams are essential to success in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Involves working closely with the development team, engineers, and other senior personnel in driving the complete rollout process of new and existing projects and developments.
  • Coordinate with product management, engineering leads and system architects to build consensus across teams, including scheduling and leading status meetings, as well as being the focal point for building and maintaining the release schedules and release plan of record.
  • Collect feedback from sales and training teams , help define priorities, drive scheduling, and planning for all phases of the product launches
  • Lead and improve existing product development and release processes, collaborating with Autel HQ and Autel US to refine and develop workflow for maximum efficiency
  • Review, prioritize, and track the progress of bugs and queries that affect localized product content relevancy, quality, and functionality
  • Help document all project-specific processes and guidelines, ensuring that they are updated on a regular basis and are available to all relevant stakeholders
  • Identify areas in the localization project workflow that may be improved and offer solutions
  • Serve as the main point of contact during product rollouts
  • Deliver top tier customer service and support across all product areas both internally and to external clients.
  • Manage and track critical issues
  • Coordinate deliverables with various internal departments
  • Collaborate with teams and understand product team(s) dynamic across the company to plan and drive key objectives
  • Main point of contact with Headquarters located in China, therefore having flexibility around working hours is required
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Fluency in Mandarin is required.
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically and to build consensus to make programs successful.
  • You should be detail oriented with shown ability to multitask, in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements.
  • Proven experience to resolve issues, conflicts.
  • Proven experience to creatively resolve technical issues and resource conflicts.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience project or product rollout management with excellent communication and technical presentation skills.
  • Preferred electronic or automotive vehicle technology experience.
Job Type:
Full-time from Port Washington, NY office. Competitive salary, commission and annual bonus based on performance
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
