Job Description

Overview St. Catherine of Siena Hospital, affiliated with Catholic Health Services of Long Island, is located in Smithtown, NY on a beautiful 110-acre campus that includes a 290-bed community hospital, a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation facility, and a 60,000 sq. ft. medical office building. SCS is engaged with error reduction initiatives and on a journey to High Reliability. We have been recognized in superior care in stroke and sepsis patients, have also recently attained Center of Excellence in Bariatric Surgery, and have been designated as the only Baby Friendly hospital in Suffolk County. Job Details The Project Coordinator works to assist in all projects related to all Security, Safety, Emergency Management and Facilities activities. The position coordinates with departments throughout the hospital on various projects and completes activities related to compliance & department activities.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the Environment of Care (EOC), Emergency Management (EM) & Workplace Violence (WPV) meetings including preparation of agenda, meeting minutes and coordinates presenters and special attendees, handouts, and any audio/visual requirements. Manages staff meetings including preparation of agenda, scheduling, handouts, and follow-up Create and monitor purchase orders and annual expenses; Assist with department budget preparation and mid-year review Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
Associates Degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred 5+ years' experience as an executive assistant or similar role. Above average skills in Word, Outlook, and Excel, and good skills in PowerPoint. Posted Salary Range USD $28.00 - USD $33.00 /Hr. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
