Wendel is seeking a BIM Manager to join our team! This position is open in our Middletown, CT, Williamsville, NY, Buffalo, NY, Albany, NY, Rochester, NY, Alexandria, VA, Richmond, VA, Minneapolis, MN, Eau Claire, WI, and Atlanta, GA offices. Reporting to the Director of BIM, the BIM Manager is responsible for supporting project teams, implementing BIM standards, maintaining model quality, and driving the effective use of BIM technologies throughout the organization. This role combines technical expertise, technical guidance, training, and project support to ensure consistent, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Support and enforce company BIM standards, workflows, and best practices. Provide BIM expertise and technical support to architecture and engineering project teams. Develop and maintain BIM templates, content libraries, and documentation standards. Perform model audits and quality reviews to ensure project compliance. Assist with project setup and clash detection. Train staff on BIM processes, tools, and best practices in real time project deadlines when possible. Collaborate with discipline leaders, IT staff, and the Director of BIM. Support implementation and optimization of Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, and related technologies. Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and digital project delivery workflows.
Qualifications:
Industry specific associate degree in A/E Industry Technology, Construction Technology, Drafting and Design Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience. 2 - 5 years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. 2 - 5 years BIM leadership, BIM coordination, or BIM management experience. Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit. Experience with Autodesk Forma, BIM Collaborate Pro, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. Understanding multidisciplinary project delivery and design coordination. Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Autodesk certifications are preferred. Experience with Dynamo, automation tools, or scripting is preferred.

Salary Range:
$59,000 - $70,000. Wendel is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
