Coordinator, Annual Fund Stewardship and Special Projects Reports to: Director of the Fund for BW Collaborates with: Coordinator, Philanthropy and Alumni Communications + Prospect Development and Data Analytics team members + team members working with alumni groups

Office of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement Position Summary:
The Coordinator of Annual Fund Stewardship and Special Projects supports the strategic and operational goals of the university's Fund for BW by managing donor stewardship, executing targeted solicitations campaigns, and directly engaging alumni and donors via phone, email, and personalized digital communications. This role exercises independent judgment in planning and implementing donor engagement initiatives and makes decisions that influence the strategic effectiveness of the Fund for BW. This is an exempt, full-time position. This role works closely with the Director of the Fund for BW and the Coordinator, Philanthropy and Alumni Communications to ensure effective donor communications that drive increased donor participation, retention, and annual fund revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
The following outlines the essential functions of the position and is not to be considered a detailed description of all duties inherent in the position. Fundraising & Donor Engagement Lead execution for recurring giving and employer matching gift programs and evaluate program performance and recommend strategic improvements. Develop and implement strategies for donor outreach, making independent decisions on prioritization and messaging to optimize participation. Regularly conduct outreach via phone, email, and digital communications to solicit support for the Fund for BW and respond to current and prospective donor inquiries. Log all outreach, actions, and communication outcomes accurately in the CRM. Donor Stewardship & Communications Develop and implement an annual, strategic Fund for BW stewardship plan Recommend and implement enhancements to stewardship practices, exercising discretion in determining which strategies will best achieve fundraising goals. Ensure timely, accurate and personalized creation and distribution of acknowledgement and stewardship materials for all Fund for BW donors. Maintain accurate SOPs of donor acknowledgments and monitor stewardship performance to develop workflow improvements. Collaborate with the Communications Coordinator to align messaging and outreach with donor engagement goals. Data & Strategy Use donor and alumni data to identify trends, segment audiences, and inform outreach strategies. Independently analyze engagement metrics and propose actionable improvements that influence program success. Support data integrity efforts by coordinating with Advancement Services and other internal teams. Track metrics and prepare summaries of campaign performance, ROI, and engagement outcomes. Special Projects Lead and support special projects that promote the Fund for BW, exercising judgment in planning and executing these projects to impact overall fundraising success, including, but not limited to: Recurring gifts Matching gifts Giving Day coordination Donor recognition events Class reunion fundraising initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit management, communications, data analytics, or related field. 2+ years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or communications or advancement-related work. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Raiser's Edge) and Microsoft Excel. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative environment.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
